My thanks to the exhibitors who brought their hands to this well-run show, we now have a have small entries but nonetheless so many top end hounds to choose from without exception. I have no preconceived expectations and always judge the dogs on the day. All hounds were clean and groomed with lovely temperaments and good-natured owners.

Peach’s Kilbourne Daniyal, really super type, love his head. Excellent is well set on, strength and reach in neck going into correct lay of shoulder. chest to drop chest still to drop, well ripped, excellent topline and fall away. Balanced angles and a crisp dark coat. excellent movement in profile, very promising, well shown.

Quantistico Guiseppe to Kilbourne. An exciting young male of high quality, pleasing head, strong well-muscled neck, shoulder well laid back, excellent fore chest, good spring of red and length in the loin. Balance throughout, absolutely sound a true mover seen from all angles excellent coat. Considered for top honours but by no means has he reached his potential and majority, his time will come, expertly handled.

Owen and Brody's Fritzen Zarif at Wolfscastle (imp Ger) fabulous head and dark eye, small ears, a very pleasing young hound who shows correct height to length ratio, strong for leads and length in loin, good length from hip to Hock, sweeping stifles, full tail well set on, top line flattens on the move well-muscled, a sound mover well off for bone well-presented and shown another one to watch.

Cummings Kaleginy Troubadour, standing alone Honda quality with a lot to like, super masculine head with a soft expression. Aquiline nose and Hazel eye. Very good is good front construction with plenty of width and heart room, possessing great fore chest which is lacking in so many, balanced profile, positive mover on well knuckle feet with a long stride, sensitively handled.

Finette and Heathcote Hyndsight Talk on the Street. A Nice class some good ones to choose from, I picked this 2 1/2 year old dog for his sound movement, he also had the best front construction in the class and honest hand well balanced excellent muscle tone, liked his head, strength in neck with reach, excellent for chest, ribbing carried well back, Breadth through the hips, well bent stifles and low hocks moving with a long easy ground covering stride. Excellent jacket a lot to like, the RCC.

Wilce Quinton/Quinton's Kirjojax Harris, nice typy hound with a lovely head, dark eye and good pigmentation, excellent ears well set on. Strong well-developed neck. correct portions, well off for bone and great depth of brisket, lacks front fill in, super feet, tight and well knuckled. Great length through hip to hock well angled rear and a low hock, plenty of substance lovely side profile movement would like a little more rise over the loin. Immaculately presented and handled.

Taylors Ch. Ormanstar Dark Shadow won the class on his positive movement, he shows maximum ground coverage with a free moving effortless long stride, his handler really gets the best out of him, true fore and aft. Pleasing head, very strong neck with reach into lovely shoulders, good fore chest great Breath through hips and lovely well Bent stifles so balanced, nothing exaggerated. lovely crisp coat, well off the bone, kindly and expertly handled. Pulled out all the stops to clinch this quality class CC.

Peach’s Ch. Kilbourne Merak, these mature male oozes quality and breed type, just my type but this class was about splitting hairs and I just preferred my first. The best of heads, aquiline nose with the hazel eye and soft far away expression, strong neck , absolutely balanced although, with a lovely outline, excellent topline and fall away , tail well set , the best of shoulders showed in hard condition, super dark harsh coat and moved with long strides, exceptional front movement, straight forelegs correct front pastern, quality all through very thoughtfully handled and well presented.

Peach’s Kilbourne Devon stood alone but wow what a fabulous puppy not much I would change here quality all through the best of heads with the soft expression aquiline nose and great pigment, good reach to neck, correct shoulder, good length in ribbing and Loin. Length in upper arm, moved soundly from all angles on well knuckled feet, she oozes quality and breed type, BEST PUPPY and a delight to watch her take PUPPY GROUP 4. A star in the making

Edwards’ Quantistico Lucia to Kilbourne won easily on her sound movement. Lovely breed type, sweet head with good proportions, small well-set ears and a dark eye. Correct height to length ratio, balanced angulation front and rear, ribs well sprung, held her topline when moving, very good dark crisp coat, nice fall away and good tail set, brisket needs to drop, she moved with drive and purpose, kindly and well handled.

Jones’ Quantistico Gina, a lovely feminine head eye-catching young lady, dark and shapely, lovely angulation in the rear she's very sound moving and has a long stride and once she gets going and settles down. I would like a little more of her, nevertheless a lot to admire.

Cannon and Wickstead 's Kilbourn Opal’s Fire to Abayomi. Excellent head very feminine and correct lines dark eye and soft for region expression, length and muscle in her elegant neck, shoulder very well back angulation front and rear balanced angles, excellent bend of stifle on low hocks, she moved around the ring with a long easy stride covering the ground true and sound in all directions on well knuckled feet top line correct and held on the move very well presented a lovely type.

Second Louis' Luckhurst Whitefeatherfall, a nice quality young bitch who is starting to mature very nicely, feminine head she won her place on her soundness on the move which was positive viewed from all directions. She strides out, well holding her topline, correct feet, well presented, nice and kindly handled.

first Havercroft’s Kilbourne Lyra at Drake Dragons I'll, this is a very nice bitch of good breed type, beautiful head, lovely dark I well off for bone well sprung rib cage and good took up maintained a top line when move in which she was sound and positive, excellent feet balanced angulation a quality exhibit.

Helps’ Beardswood Verbena, she caught my eye as she entered the ring and from then on I was not disappointed. This young hound oozes quality and Breed Type the most beautiful feminine head, the first thing you look at and you hope the rest will follow, and it does. So balanced nothing exaggerated correct shoulder, length in upper arm, well ribbed, deep in brisket, with a strength through loin deep in brisket, effortless on the move absolutely sound she fills the eye, not the biggest, however plenty of bone and substance, well within the standard. Free striding quality all through I found what I was looking for breed type, sound movement balanced look no further CC and you could not deny the BEST OF BREED A Star for the future, sensitively handled second

Spence is Hyndsight Nealey a bitch of quality, balanced angles, feminine head, strong neck with a reach good reach, correct lay of shoulder and length in the upper arm, deep chest and well bent stifles. Muscled with good second thigh. I liked her sound movement sound fore and aft with a lovely side gait. not cooperating with the handler today but sincerely shown an lot to like.

Finnett and Heathcote’s Hyndsight All I have to do is , this young hound caught my eye immediately and didn't disappoint on inspection. A lovely feminine head aquiline nose and soft expression that I love. correct shoulder placement, deep in brisket and well ribbed and good took up long sweeping stifle and breath throughout her well-developed quarters a little strong in top line good bone excels on the move true coming and going impressive in profile very promising. RCC who I see is her brother I think the dam is a bitch I very much liked.

Owen and Brodies Wolfscastle Sole Sister. A high-quality bitch of breed type, the best of heads with the dark eye. Much desired faraway expression she has length and reach in her strong neck, well bodied, well offer for bone. Excellent shoulder placement and length in a fore chest and deep ribbing. super rear angles which she was using to her advantage on the move she moves out on well knuckle feet with drive and enthusiasm with a long ground covering gait fabulous temperament well-presented and handled.

Spence is Shagiead Stormy Seas A lovely example of the breed so much to like about her she has correct length to her ratio, a lovely head, eye could be smaller. length in upper arm excellent length in upper arm, good top line held on the move strength through loin and Brett through hips good muscle tone and well angulated stifles last coat lost out on her lack of enthusiasm on the move today. gently and nicely presented and handled Nicola Bailey.
