Firstly I would like to thank the Committee for appointing me to judge and award CCs for the first time. And also thanks to all those who came along and supported my entry which it was my pleasure and privilege to judge.
Puppy Dog (3,1)
1st Peach Mr & Mrs Micheal & Glenis, Quantistico Guiseppe
Lovely 6 month old puppy with strong bone thoughout and good balance. Excellent forechest, strong neck and well laid shoulders. Good tuck up. Strong loin and good rear angulation, well muscled. Movement was easy and active. One to watch. BP
2nd Smith Mrs Julie & Mr J G, Claonaiglen Camgaridh at Julam
Much larger 8 month old dog with a soft expression, though somewhat broad in the head. Shoulders ok. Nice rise over the loin but would prefer a deeper chest. Well muscled quarters. A little unsettled, not helping his handler but could see he was steady on the move when settled. Would prefer a harsher coat.
Postgraduate Dog (5)
1st Hawkins Mr D & Mrs S, Kwaricott Colt
Very shapely dog with a lovely head & expression. Good bone throughout. Strong neck leading into well laid shoulders. Good forechest, well sprung ribs and good tuckup. Strong loin, good fallaway, good bend of stifle, not exaggerated. Well muscled quarters and good second thigh. Movement was easy, active and true coming and going.
2nd Shannon Mrs E, Packway Downlander at Erewhon
Another well constructed male with a lovely overall outline and nice head and expression. Strong neck leading into well laid shoulders. Good forechest, deep chest. More length of loin than 1st, lovely fallaway and good bend of stifle, again with no exaggeration. Not as well muscled as 1st but moved out well with drive from behind.

Limit Dog (5,1)
1st Peach, Mr & Mrs Michael & Glenis, Kilbourne King Alfred
This dog caught my eye immediately and did not disappoint hands on. A beautiful outline with lovely flow from nose to tail. Beautiful head with dark eye, well set ears and correct shape. Very strong neck leading to excellent shoulder placement. Excellent bone throughout. Good, strong feet. Excellent forechest, lovely spring of rib and excellent tuckup. Very strong well muscled loin with good rise leading into very strong, well muscled quarters. Good bend of stifle and excellent second thigh. Strong, straight, low hocks. Lovely length from hip to hock. Strong thick tail with appealing white tip. Lovely harsh, full coat and so well presented. Movement was excellent showing such power and drive from behind matched by excellent reach in front which easily won him the class. Very pleased to award him DCC, BoB. Pleased to see him go on to Hound Group 3
2nd Taylor, Mrs S J, Ormanstar Dark Shadow
Another strong, well made male with lots to like. Good bone throughout, nice head with dark eye and well set ears. Harsh coat . Excellent bone throughout. Good front construction, good spring of rib with excellent tuckup. Not quite the rear angulation or muscle in the quarters as 1st but moved out well with good drive from the rear and an easy and active stride.

Open Dog (4)
1st Heathcote Dr NSA & Finnett Miss SL, Ch Hyndsight Sinnerman
Strong handsome male with lovely head and expression. Ears well set on correct-shaped head. Strong bone throughout. Strong neck leading into very well laid shoulders. Good front angulation with good return of upper arm. Strong forechest, deep set ribs with plenty of room and a good tuckup. Nice rise over a strong loin with good croup and strong thick tail. Well muscled quarters with low hocks and good length from hip to hock. Powerful on the move. Pushed hard for the top spot in the challenge but pleased to award him RDCC.
2nd Morton & Morgan Ms A & Mr J, Ch Cotherstone Flint & Steel
Another lovely, powerful male. Smaller than 1st but with good proportions and pleasing outline. Beautiful, appealing head and gentle expression. Good forechest and strong neck leading into well laid shoulders. Deep chest and good tuckup. Nice rise over the loin and well muscled quarters. Not so strong on the move as 1st today.
3rd Adams, Miss B, Ardneish Pinocchio
Puppy Bitch (2,1)
1st Seeley, Mrs Liz, Fritzens X-quisite NAF
10-month old puppy with a sweet head and soft expression. Well set ears. Front angulation ok and has a nice tuck up but could do with more depth of chest. Nice rise over the loin and low set tail. Good length from hip to hock. Needs time to mature and body up. A little unsettled today both standing and on the move.
Junior Bitch (2)
1st Barret Ms K, Stranwith Ixxia
Beautiful curvy bitch with plenty of substance in one so young. Lovely flowing outline from nose to tail. Well set ears on correct shaped head and lovely dark eye. Strong neck, well laid shoulders and good forechest. Good deep chest and spring of rib giving plenty of room and with excellent tuckup. Very strong, well muscled quarters with good bend of stifle but not over-exaggerated. Good harsh coat. Movement was easy and true. Showing great promise, one to watch.
2nd Peach, Mr Michael & Mrs Glenis, Kilbourne Flora Macdeva
Nice head and expression on this young bitch. Neat ears. Good lay of shoulder and good bone. Nice underline. Good rise over the loin, well muscled quarters with good fallaway. A little unsettled on the move today.
Special Beginners Bitch (1)
1st Pounder, Dr Ron & Mrs Joan, Packway New York New York
A pretty young bitch with a very kind head and expression. Neat ears and a dark eye. Shoulder placement ok, chest could be a little deeper. Nice rise over a well muscled loin. Good muscle at rear led to a light and easy movement. Would prefer a little more substance overall. Pleased to see her go on to Special Beginners Group 2
Post Graduate Bitch (6,1)
1st Constantine, Mrs K, Kwaricott Kaleginy Bettinsoli
Curvy bitch with a lovely outline and plenty of substance. Soft head and expression, neat well set ears and a dark eye. Good forechest, deep chest and nice tuckup. Would prefer a tad more length to the loin but has well muscled, strong quarters. Moved out with drive and ease, true coming and going.
2nd Lucas Miss R V & Dargonne Mr C J, Packway Eco Trailer
Another bitch with curves in the right places. More length in the loin than 1st giving her a more rangy appearance. Forechest ok, well laid shoulders. Nice rise over the loin. Good bend of stifle and well muscled quarters. Moved well, steady and true. Would prefer a little more substance but has plenty of time to mature.

Strong, shapely bitch with a lovely flowing outline from nose to tail and good sweeping underline with plenty of substance. Lovely feminine head with soft expression, neat, well set ears and a dark eye. Strong neck leading into good shoulder placement. Strong forechest. Deep chest and good spring of rib giving plenty of room. Well arched loin and nice fallaway. Well muscled quarters, good bend of stifle. Powerful on the move with good reach and drive. RBCC
2nd Lucas Miss R V & Dargonne Mr C J, Packway Smackfarthing
Another shapely bitch, not quite the substance of 1st but with good front angulation, good bone, well balanced through the topline and underline. Good tuckup. Nice slope to the croup, good bend of stifle and well muscled quarters. Moved well with drive from the rear, holding topline on the move.

Good rise over the loin and lovely slope to the croup. Strong thick tail. Well muscled quarters with good second thigh. Moved with power and excellent drive from the rear with good reach. Pleased to award BCC
2nd Bailey, Mrs Nicola & Mr Glen, Ch Greyflax Pearls A Singer
Very substantial well made bitch, very different type to 1st. Pretty head, with soft expression. Neat ears and dark eye. Broad, deep chest with good spring of rib. Curvy topline with good rise over the loin. Good tuck up. Very strong powerful quarters, well muscled with good second thigh. Movement was sound and true with powerful drive from the rear. Just preferred the overall shape of 1st
