I was delighted with my quality entry on paper, but sadly very few were there to be judged.
PD. (1). 1. Pinks’, Romanie Rye at Greyhawks. Upstanding puppy with good textured coat. Attractive head, good eye shape. Long loin, adequate fallaway. Excellent feet. Would like more angles in front assembly.
PGD. (2). 1. Coull’s, Stainlonan Rikki of Regalflight. Average qualities throughout. Nice head and expression. Good depth of chest. Good tail carriage and of correct length. Moved soundly. 2. Jenning’s, Brylach Maclintock. Slightly larger type in good body condition. Good depth of chest and length of back. Coat was a little woolly and had my pet hate on a Deerhound - a ringed tail.
LD. (3). 1. Peach and Phillips’, Wild West Von der Oelmuhle. Smaller type but very well constructed. Nice to go over. Grand depth of chest and spring of rib. Excellent coat. Moved soundly on neat feet. RBD. 2. Pinks’s, Greyhawks Romancie Rom. Nice shaped dog but would like more neck. Coat a little on the woolly side, just needs attention on presentation. Good tail set and carriage. Attractive head. Moved with ease.
OD. (2). 1. Wiggan’s, Killoeter Grisle. Well constructed throughout. Good neck and shoulder. Grand depth of chest. Good angles fore and aft. Nice eye shape and expression. Pleasing on the move. BOB.
PB. (3). 1. Wiggans’, Kilbourne Firebird of Lodhainn. Neat and very pretty puppy. Well laid shoulder from strong well arched neck. Nice feet and tail of good length and set. Super length and correct topline. Angles at the rear will hopefully improve. BP.
JB. (3). 1. Kirkpatrick’s, Brackenland Tanis. Excellent harsh coat. Good neck and shoulder. Adequate rear angulation. Good upper arm. Lovely head with depth of underjaw. No coarseness in skull. Neat feet. Moved well. BB. 2. Pinks’, Regalflight Psalm at Greybrows. Very compact not the length of winner and needs much more weight. Nice fallaway and tail set. Good rear. Adequate depth of chest and spring of rib. Moved ok.
